I've been very busy with work... and some other things. I don't want anything for my birthday or Christmas. I really don't. ...I'm sorry I haven't been keeping up with many of you.

It really is. Which do you prefer?

I like it here. On the base I didn't get to know people so well. The base did have the advantage of more space.

I think you're right. It's the same with most of the other bases too. There is plenty of space to work, but there's not a lot of room for socializing.

No, there isn't. It's mostly just work even though there are a lot more people. It kind of seems like you don't have to get to know people there.

It's been like that for a long time.

[She remembers as a little girl that she had only known a rare few people. It basically boiled down to Dr. Moreno, Ian, Linda, and Mileina in the beginning. Sumeragi and Chris came later. And she didn't see much of the Meisters until she was on the Ptolemaios. Even her parents' fellow Meisters, Chall Acustica and Meister 874, weren't around as much after that day and newer Meisters were recruited. Everyone else... well, they barely acknowledged her, if at all. Everyone had their assigned duties and tight deadlines, something she discovered after she was officially inducted into the organization by Veda.]

It's only normal in our situation, but it is nice to actually talk to others rather than having them just give you information and walking away

[She actually thinks about that. Had she been having this conversation when they were putting on their original armed interventions, her answer would have been incredibly different.]

You have been the Ptolemaios a long time. Is that right?

Yes. I was on the original Ptolemaios, when we first set out to perform our armed interventions. The Ptolemaios II-- the ship we're on right now-- was only completed in the past couple years.

That is what I had heard. I am sorry about what happened during the first armed interventions.

It was only a couple weeks ago, four years ago. I'll never forget it.

[The only consolation was they had Lockon back and alive a month later, and actually awake another month after that. It still hurt that the Doctor hadn't been able to save Chris, Lichty, or Dr. Moreno. But after traveling with him for a few months and learning some basic rules of time travel, she understood why. Sort of. But she'd never hold it against him.]

It's impressive though, everything good that has happened. Even so I always get so worried about them, especially now that I am on the ship.

It never really stops. But we need to believe that they'll all come back every time.

I do believe they will. That's why I am here to work on the mobile suits, because I want to make sure they will.

Then as long as the four of us are here to keep their mobile suits maintained, they'll all be fine.

[She can't help but be glad they have a larger mechanic staff this time. Especially with Lyle and the remnants of Team Trinity all aboard and good for piloting duty.]

Yes, I know they will. We just need to keep everything running smoothly.
